	Evening I have a friend who owns a 2004 Audi A6. He has a Sony head unit and changer with a sub and amp in the boot. He's had this set up for about 3 years, but a few days ago the rear speakers starting making a hissing/crackling noise. It will do this even with the key out of the ignition. I've had a quick look on the net. Seems to be problems with the factory amp (possibly Bose) wiring to the speakers,water leaks into the boot onto the amp etc.. Any Audi fans on here...?

	If they are hissing without the ignition on, it implies the amps are powered all the time. Is this obviously the case? Lights on all the time? Are the front and rear speakers powered by seperate/different amps? Is there an option to swap amps, ideally swapping both input and outputs - this would confirm if it is the amp or not,
