I spotted an announcement somewhere saying camping had sold out, bit annoyed as if i'd known theyd go so soon, id have set payment deadlines much earlier.
I'm arranging a stand for Shitbox Racing (we were there last year) and our deadline for payments is 1st July, so it looks like there no way in hell we can camp, unless you allow us to camp/park on our stand spot or wherever we can find space.
i was advised to make sure we were paid up for tickets/stand spaces about a month before the event, so this is what i'm sticking to, i just hope you don't tell me the day tickets will also be sold out by then.
Adam.

According to the official announcement, the planned 450 camping slots sold out last week.....however HW and co. have made another 100 available, of which some 60 were remaining this time yesterday.
Advance day tickets aren't limited in number, and besides which haven't even gone on sale yet.
My advice? Get everyone to book their camping passes individually ASAP, and sort out stand passes nearer the date.

Fear not... the announcement was that we sold out the original amount of camping spaces (the amount we had set aside last year) and so we quietly added another 100 spaces, which are selling well.
If these sell out before we've had any magazine advertising we may well take a view on extending further, perhaps available only to clubs that are coming, but we'll need to visit site and check the fields etc. for space. Fear not.
Day tickets haven't gone on sale yet.
There is no need to worry about anything,.. or be annoyed... it will all be good.

Just to confirm numbers for people;
For a number of years camping has now been capped at 300 people, first come first served. These have sold out, and so we reviewed how we might be able to manage an increased number of campers this year. This was a hurdle we have found a solution to.
As Hotwire said, this resulted in us releasing a further 100 weekend tickets last week.
Of these final 100 weekend tickets there are just under 50 remaining. They will sell out - if you haven't booked yet I recommend you do so pronto!

lmao @ Raoul Duke Its not about physically fitting everyone into the area its about managing people once they are in!
At 300 we agreed our manpower was maxxed out. To increase the number of camping tickets we have taken the plunge and will be bringing in additional external assistance to ensure the campsite remains a friendly and welcoming place.

Is there anywhere within 5 miles of PRESCOTT to camp now it's own space is all gone ? OR could we put up a two man tent on our alloted stand space ?

You can't camp on your stand, but there are other campsites in the area - several people camped 'off site' last year.
