The two old 500s are lovely, but I wouldn't touch the new one at all, especially since I've never seen the 49 grand he wants all in one place!

The old S-Class W126 is the last of the great over-engineered Mercs IMHO. Phenomenal cars, and every time I rob one of parts down the scrappers  it never ceases to amaze me the amount of detail and quality they have built into them. Usually they're at the scrappy because of crashes - rarely anything mechanical. |

Have to say they are probably the best engineered cars out there of their era. If you want one, my 500SE will be up for sale on here soon  Gunmetal grey, grey leather, 16" Merc Alloys, new brakes, tyres, gearbox and a new set of Bilstiens just fitted. Aircon, cruise, huge S-Roof, electric everything.... 150k with History, not too bad fuel wise either. Just needs a tiny rear arch repair (Or a set of chrome arches) 10mths test, taxed and ready to go, CD player etc I`ll get some pictures sorted over the weekend Fancy it ? Cheers Dom 420Nm torque ;D |
