Great pics LuckySeven, really highlights how much there was there (how much I missed) And here are my five photos from the show! Before I start, am I the only one who gets really annoyed by people who insist on sitting 2 feet away from their car eating/reading the paper so you can't take a picture without including them in it? Get up and go for a walk for the love of Chrimble, that or just give me 20 freaking feet. You can see I'm trying to get a bloody picture without you in it. Cripes. So yeah, guess which car I really liked...

All that's really left is the Astons then. Bizarrely, the Aston Martin stand was the biggest there, and almost gave the Fords a run for their money lol. Dunno whether it's some anniversary for the marque or something, but I'm certainyl not complaining. Not when there were abundant cars as beautiful as this V8 'vert in white. That'll do for me, ta Some competition cars from the marque history maybe I'm weird but I prefer the little ducktail lip on the DB6 to the smoother bootline on the earlier models. I realise that puts me in a minority, but hey, I always like to plough my own furrow. As t'were Hmmm, actually... Nice to see some cars retaining a slight patina, and a used look rather than being immaculate garage queens, too "That" Ford switchgear. The DB7 is a funny old thing, responsible for the great resurrection but somehow hillariously dated and dare I say it slightly naff. (Again, goes without saying I'd make do, like. I'm just sayin') and even on the later models they look amazing, work amazing, are amazing... ....but somehow just don't have the shock and awe and the pure beauty of the earlier models. In my humble opinion, of course ....especially under the bonnet Chubby bum The Volante, I guess, is gonna be a big favourite though for me it'd be the good ol' V8. I just love the sledgehammer attitude of these cars, the way no-one cared if it weighed two tons, it just meant they needed to cram in a more powerful engine ;D Reckon this number plate cost a bit? So that's it from me, I hope you enjoyed my pics and my ramblings weren't too intrusive. Best part of the day for me? I managed to get a Corgi model of the Liberator from Blake's Seven for 50p

Get up and go for a walk for the love of Chrimble, that or just give me 20 freaking feet. You can see I'm trying to get a bloody picture without you in it. Cripes. Spot on! I have to say, it's the worst show I've ever been to for *expletive deleted* irritating, obnoxious, rude insufferable HATEFUL people. There's the whole range of ignorant behaviour, swearing chavs with five pitbulls on a lead, fat fools who blunder right in front of you just as you've spent ages lining up the shot, cretins who come right up to your shoulder and stand there munching a burger in your ear as you're trying to focus, and as you rightly point out, the sort of lazy ****** who sits twoinches from their car looking extremely unprespossessing and ugly and refuses to budge no matter what. Yes, it's kind of them to put in the effort to show the car, and yes, it's a long day and you wouldn't want to be on your feet throughout. but FFS, I want a picture of the car , not your bloated corpulent carcass Thankyou for sharing that moment. Do they do that will all the clubs?? Nope. Ahh I thought it was a nice touch (when I thought it was all clubs in the big arena bit) get to see all the cars on the move and speak to all the owners that want to be spoken to. Another thing to add to my list of things to do if I ever run a static show.

Sure you wanted the first set of pics twice? Thanks for pointing that out; you know, I was looking for that mistake last night, but was so knackered I couldn't see it!

Really liking the Lagonda Rapide & Triumph Renown Mk2s* look so much better on steels and caps than wires - really accentuates the rear spats. (*yes, I know this one is actually a 240/340 )
