Nice, love the top one! Ever re-webbed an old Ercol Windsor? I've got one that needs some TLC and don't really fancy paying brand new factory prices for Ercol webbing...

Is it just a support webbing underneath the seat cushion? If you're half reasonable at playing with cars doing chair repairs (apart from upholstery, which requires atleast a basic knowledge of a sewing machine) is childs play. Take a good look at how it's attached and what it's made of, there are plenty of upholstery shops around and online which should be able to sort you out with a suitable replacement for the worn webbing

You need a web stretcher to get it tight. I thing the car seat webbing is too stretchy look for one made of a hessian type of material. Essentially you double over one end tack it using upholstery tacks then use the web stretcher to pull tight the tack then double the end over and put in some more tacks.it needs criss crossing to give it a bit more support then cover from the top with a piece of cloth them put your stuufing over the top.

Nice one! Is that a vinyl wrap or actual magazine covers? I found a couple of before pics of the denim chair:

Copied onto paper of the actual covers and then glued to the chair and built up with a lot of layers of satin clear to make sure they last well
