Haven't had much time to post lately, been enjoying the car as well as changing curse word nappies! It did give me an excuse to build my lad a little jeeprod. For those of you who fans of ROADKILL on you tube, here's ''little loose nuts''! Full suspension operated from a Replica pineapple hand grenade I did have time to sort the heavy clutch with the use of a 67 chevy slave cylinder. Just by chance, this is the truck I would like to build after the esprit. The mount lugs needed repositioning and welding back on. you can see the size of the cylinder, no more aching knee! Ordered a seal kit for a few quid. The slave has been on a couple of month now with no issues at all. Had a meet up with Luke AKA Charliecroker to a show up Stafford which wasn't to bad with only a small weep of fuel from the fuel pump, nipped the banjo a little tighter and away we went again. Lastly we popped into a local show at Ragley hall a couple of weeks ago, rolled in with a gt40. Had to stop him to snap this....

Hi deanchad;
Great build! On the comment about the paintcode i presume you know you can apply to the DVLA for a full rundown of the previous owners. Its about £5 i think.
Best

Hey, yes it's the same! A lot of changes over the winter. But haven't had chance to update yet. I should be down up a post soon with the custom wheel project and other adjustments

Nice, but then I am a little biased :-) I hadn't realised that there was another Lotus idiot on here!
The Lotus purists will have seizures, keep going! Bookmarked.
My only small gripe, and there is always one, is the rear camber. This type of mod should, IMO, be restricted to silly cars that don't handle. Reduce the camber to something approaching a sensible angle and it will be perfect. This car has too much class to suffer this indignity (and handling loss). However, as you were born in the 80s, I guess this is your scene :-)

Nah , i'm not from the eighties and i think this car is epic ! And because i'm old , i hardly use the word epic , because i hate it , but this car really is the nuts! But maybe it needs MORE camber , something like this.... :-)
please continue ! Love your vision.!

Cheers for the input. There isn't actually any adjustment of camber on the rear, that the natural camber aired out. In normal ride height it actually runs around -1 degree (maybe a little on the front though)

Does anyone know what happened to this Esprit? Last time I saw it was at Ultimate Stance 2016 when I was on the RR stand with it... Would be brilliant to see that it is just hiding away going under some changes
