Will be breaking my VTR as of tomorrow, taking off the bits which are worth something and then scrapping whats left over the next couple of weeks. Will be starting to strip it down this weekend.
Will be getting pictures up as and when it is off the car and requested for photo's.
Its a Silver MK2 VTR.
I will, for sale have the following bits and pieces - anything else wanted from the car is also available.
Kent PT40 cam which is in the engine (around 1000 miles again) – Will be removed soon Cost £210 around 2 months ago, will take £150
Powerflex ARB Bushes (used) £sold
Dimpled and grooved brake disks with mintex pads. Used but plenty of life left in them. Can include callipers which are all freely moving. £60
Refurbished Injectors around 2 months old. Cost £70, Will take £45
Lucas Coil pack, 2 months old no faults. £20
VTR head – Slight porting, new valve seals and valves recently cleaned etc… £sold
VTR Bottom end – new water pump, no smoking etc, good condition. £sold
VTS gearbox – Good condition, no funny noises. Unsure of milage. £sold
Steering rack – new track rod ends, completely free. £30
PAS pump – no issues. £offers
Set of GAZ GHA front coil overs and rear dampers - around 1000 miles. £380
Unused rear beam Powerflex mounting bushes. (in box) £40
Full exhaust - Raceland Manifold, Sports cat, no silencers, Mini Cooper back box, Will also include standard back box as the system is LOUD. Very deep and raspy tone to it. Custom built by MIJ, around 1 year ago. Cost nearly £1000 for the lot, will take £550
4X VTR alloys with 2 Michelin Energy savers with good tread. 1 cheap tyre on the rear, good tread and a worn tyre on the other. – Offers?
Rear beam- Good condition, no play or camber. New wheel bearings. No shocks. Lowered by quite a bit but not sure exactly how much. £50
A K&N cone filter – with a small hose £15
Lowering springs – was removed from the car when fitting the GAZ, wear and tear. £offers
Unused mud flaps £5
Driver side head light £10
Upper Strut brace £10
Parts will be available for collection evenings and weekends from Birmingham.
I can post small items, May be able to meet half way on some things, but not until after next weekend when I pick my new car up.
