theres already loads of stuff going on in southend, seafronts always full at weekends, plus theres the dick turpin meet. think theres stuff up at that dodgy cafe near the halfway house too.
were deffo gunna be moving it more towards ipswich way, to cover the colchester/ipswich crowds. north essex and south suffolk, cos theres nothing happening this way. orwell crossing is looking favourite at the mo, if not probably felixstowe seafront area. theres a perfect carpark, but no eating/drinking establishment close by except a chippy a bit of a walk away.
pete, have i got you on FB, i started a bit of a discussion about a felixstowe meet last week.

ive just rang the orwell crossing, got to ring back to speak to the appropriate manager tomorrow.
its going to be a weekday evening meet as before, we still going for a thurs eve?

pete, have I got you on FB Friend suggestion sent. I'd love to make the drive one day even though it's a long way to go for a chat. I have a mate in Ipswitch so maybe I can combine it with a weekend of drinking and other poor behaviour. edit - yeah it'll be on a thursday lol  so much for my weekend! Will have to be a long weekend I guess! |

Well it will clash with my pool league (new season starts in a few weeks) but it's too far for me now anyway. I was pushing it before at a 140 mile round trip but the new venue would be more like 200! Thanks for the consideration though, I'm sure I'll make the trip at some point during a break week to see the Lada <3 and catch up with you lot. If Pete doesn't post a certain bike carb filter soon then I'll have to come up there to have some stern words anyway. ;D |

meet up the square harlow if into good bands and djs good bear and 8 ball downstairs,
coldplay, supergrass, dodgy, chas&dave dammed, underworld, even labi safri are just a few bands to have played , worth checing out if never had the the pleasure yet,
free car park , £5 to get in maybe gathering negotiable

NEWS!! Me and Roo have been to the Orwell Crossing today to arrange a new meet, the manger is on holiday for 3 weeks but we had a chat with the girl behind the till (after having a nice cup of coffee there) and she said it's fine for us to have a meet there, There's plenty of space and they have a large indoor area with cheap food and drink, Perfect!. I've started a new thread, at the moment it's the 3rd Tuesday of each month due to myself and Roo's shift patterns but we could change it in the future seeing how the meet takes off. To be fair, yes the seafront is full at weekends, but with chavs in lowered modern Fiestas with big stereos and such like. Nothing old or interesting. That dodgy cafe is closed now I think, or if it has reopened there's no car meets there. The Dick Turpin is good if you like American cars I suppose. I usually go up to the classic car meet on the last Thursday at The Lodge near Wickford, that's pretty good. Can't think of much else on without going into London for stuff at the Ace etc. |

seafront is usually full of all that, but it's still something to do  also nice to outshow the chavs in a mass of retro's lol be nice to get aload of retro's down old leigh for some nice photo's to some time. |
