Here's a selection and a few words to go with...
I set gave the car a quick wash, loaded up, and set off to meet the RR:SE friday convoy at Beaconsfield services, after meeting luckygti, skinnylew, hardcore, vip, jamalshakotancarter, emdee, jonny69, drsexy...well loads of people in the smelliest carpark I have ever been in, we set off for Prescott
(I was just cameraphoning at this point)
We then set up camp and had a few nights of the most hilarious and incredibly wrong conversation known to mankind, none of which can ever be repeated ever! Was nice to be chilling with example and prince harry too, such nice blokes...
Such a photogenic venue...
Sunday morning dawned and with sore heads / legs / everything we headed over to set up the clubstand, would like to say a big thanks to all the RR:SE and Hampshire modified and retro lots for the awesome variety of cars we had, along with our guests Nightmares Racing, I don't think I got a shot with all 20 cars together as someone was always on track!
MonzaPhils car also drew a crowd (thats Phil with the 2300s not mantaPhil who actually had a monza, and was on our stand!)
Here he is getting papped by exjarkle, heroically working on a sunday!
I then spent the rest of the day just enjoying the show and snapping away, heres a selection of my faves, but please browse the link, and tag yourselves on facebook later when they are up
scirocco bull fighting, its all the rage:
any info on this? it seemed to be made of rivets and awesome...
ExJarkles first drive of 'project jarkle' also massive hero reward to colonelk for driving back from scotland saturday night to come to the gathering:
I left the campsite and followed the kamei golf, then on the a46 at fish hill (almost as good as prescott) had unexpected old-school tougue action with some old guy (and his headscarf wearing mrs) in a lotus elan, he was giving it absolute hell and was amazing to follow!
a quick McPitstop then home, awesome weekend!
;D
