Retro Car Photography Night at Ringwood Raceway

Hi everyone, I just wanted to post on here about an upcoming event i'm trying to gather extended interest for at Ringwood Raceway on

Wednesday 12th September - 5:30pm - 9:30pm

The night is for classic and retro material and is aimed as a photo night. The stadium itself makes an ideal location as it's filled with floodlights that always makes for interesting photos, it's great practice for me as a student photographer and could also be a great meeting place for the retro cars.

I've tried to attract the banger drivers as they have some great road going classics, and we already have a confirmed list of around 30 cars, as follows.

I'm particularly fond of the Japanese classics such as RWD Starlets, AE86's etc but any car would be made more than welcome, it's intended as a fun gathering of old cars where you'll leave hopefully with some cool snaps of your ride.

Drifting and stock car practice takes place throughout the whole night on track, show cars are parked around the bowled arena in a circle.

Much appreciated Lawsy thankyou, I forgot to mention there's a Facebook event for it with around 80 confirmed guests, i'm also aware of more people going but they haven't told me what they're bringing, I guess they'd like it to be a surprise on the night.

Just to let everyone know this is going on tomorrow night with 40 cars now booked to appear, anyone is welcome to come, weather is looking dry and should be a good fun night.

Some recent bookings include a Mk1 Granada hearse, a KP60 RWD Starlet, lots of capris, cortinas, granadas and even a Rover P3.
