I have a Peugeot 205 cti with a non running engine due to cam belt tensioner problems. It's a 1.6 I have had it for a year and bought it off here. It's on a d plate so I reckon it's a phase 1. The interior, seats and door card wise are good condition but most of the dash plastics are cracked. It sits on lowered suspension and supposedly has a 309 rear beam. It has the 15 inch black speed lines with nearly new toyo rubber. All the brakes are a year old. The car is very solid underneath and all the panels are dent free apart from the bonnet which has a slight dent. All glass is good and the hood is in very good cond with no rips or cracks.
It would be uneconomical for me to put a replacement engine in and retest and insure and sell it for what seems to be the going rate. I reckon I can make as much profit by breaking it for parts which would be a crime owing to the body condition.
What do you reckon it would fetch as spares or repair, or in parts if broken?
Cheers.
