Right. So let's get this absolutely clear. Not content with snagging the first Corona from under my nose, you've now found and bought ANOTHER one in Bournemouth?! Ye Gods man, where was that one hiding?!
Best of luck with your projects, I can't imagine they could be in better hands.
PS Since you're obviously better at finding things than I am, I'm looking for really nice Toledo or Dolomite. Let me know when you've located one!!!

I didnt actually buy the 2nd one becuse it was too far gone in my opinion and no parts were good from that to use on mine :-(

LOL, I was thinking that Garage looked familiar in on the first page, was thinking it was Church Lane Garage in the City Centre, very similar layout, no Skoda Rapid pics on the notice board in yours though

Coming on very nicely, love the 104 too. Heres my old one from a few years back, saved from a banger racer and remarkably solid.

Ok Paint arrived, but I'm sure its lighter than the original colour? Tested in the engine bay... Your thoughts?

Probably going to get slated for this but it showed such promise and attention to detail but I don't know why you have sprayed stone chip everywhere especially under engine bay. It wasnt necessary and i'm sorry but that repair to the wing is not going to last 2 minutes. I hope I'm wrong and it's your car, great for saving etc etc. But please don't spoil the ship for a hapeth of tar as the saying goes. I speak from experiance in that my anglia was blathered with stone chip and it was an absolute sod to remove. If it's prepped properly (like it looks your doing then it's not necessary. Obviously if your planning to run this through all winters then I understand. Otherwise keep the updates coming..

I questionned my mate who did the stone chip and he basically said it is to give it better protection & 'yes' for the crappy weather. With regards to the wing I have actually decided to use the wings off the other RT40 for now which are much better and require no welding.

Thanks for not taking it the wrong, just constructive critisism. Personally I would have painted as normally and then blathered wax everywhere if using all weathers. Glad you've found some better wings as that repair would not have lasted 2 minutes before bubbles would start to appear. Good luck with it. :-)

Go on that wing would be easy to repair. Though I guess that task could wait until the second car needs them. You'd be understandably eager to get this car sorted first. Going to look great!
