From the glorious days when Citroen still made mad cars; the CX interior: Possibly one of the most convincing examples of that very 70s kinda foam-blocky 'concept car' interior style to make it into production...?

If everyone had an interior like that, the roads would be far safer. From the glorious days when Citroen still made mad cars; the CX interior: That looks more comfy than a fat bird! Citroen weren't alone but you had to travel far to find others - like this US haven.. I like them basic if i'm driving, though this early '60s Cooper is stretching it a little.. The only pic i have of my own chairs.. Overfinch gettin' heavy with the walnut, which is nice if you're a passenger..

I'm liking this! Not entirely sure how I've missed it this far mind. I've always fancied a pair of Porsche tombstones for the Landy, and there's a set or recaros earlier in here that are seriously making me think about getting the capri's ones recovered. I'll probably just end up with the wooden slats above though...

This thread is so desperate for some pics from the real world - ... Why? I appreciate that we are all entitled to our own opinions and all that but when was the last time you obserbed anyone doing a 800 mile round trip to Scotland and back whilst sat on a set of wooden slatted bench seats fitted to a 1960's car for the sake of looking cool ? it all appears very false in my eyes, different ? Yes if you like that type of thing, practical ? Not in a month of Sundays - what's the use of it if it renders the car virtually undrivable - again each to there own but I like to use my classics / retros rather than render them unsable for the sake of 'coolness'
