I took my hat off to a guy we met at the Billing Land Rover show a few years ago, a Norwegian who had driven right across his own country, got a ferry and then driven from Hull (I think) down to Billing in his 109 S2 with original seats!
If you've never driven a series on original seats, you won't understand!

... Seats, chairs, buckets, you know the score. Post your pics of awesome seats in here, let's try and keep it fairly retro and interesting, nobody wants to see pages of the same pair of Recaros! ... Interesting is the key word imho, not the boring real world stuff. If I want to see that I can just leave the house to visit the real world. I don´t even have to turn the computer on. I really see a boring form of RR forum rising because of people, who have a problem with some out-of-the-box-thinking, hijacking more and more threads with boring stuff. That plaid blanked material used widely in the fiat 126 interior above made me chuckle, your blanket on your stock bench made me yawn. It´s not interesting, it´s purely ..., well boring. Sorry. I liked you kitchen-in-a-chapel thread, it was your thread and your taste described in there. But this is emdee's thread and he made a clear order. Just my 20 cents. YAWN

Come on guys! Must say I'm with @automatik on this one. Nobody is suggesting we all rip out our Recaros and replace them with park benches. The thread was started to give people inspiration and make us think outside the rule book. Let's bear the MO in mind though!

So - A clear order 'Interesting & Retro' are the two words used well it's certainly retro, 1952 retro in fact, now interesting - well to me it is - obviously not you - however the word interesting is well & truly open to interpretation and you again obviously have a different take on it to me - but its all down to individual opinion / tastes / likes - what looks great / cool / trendy - This may have a completely different effect on that of others and you probably need to start to take that into account. No thread hijack here - if there was I would post pics of every other seat fitted to the retro / classic fleet that I own BTW - It's a very comfy bench seat and the blanket covers the up the worn patch on the drivers side but now I'm boring you and that's not my intention
