The man to ask is Spotted Laurel, he should have a record of it I imagine. I hope it's still about, and so nice to see one at standard ride height with non-silly wheels on! When I saw the purple dangerously low example you posted the other day I realised I had almost forgotten what a standard one looks like and now BOOM here's one. Good work Bognor.

I think that white one is the one I was talked out of buying by my mates when it was up for sale for about £1200 back in the mid/late 1990s. It was in superb condition then. I was really taken by it.

The white one was originally pale metallic green. It was still that colour around 97 I think as it turned up at JAE.

Is that reckoned to be the only UK one left then? I'd be greatly surprised if there are any more in the UK than the two mentioned in this thread. I know I'm usually a 'nothing is too rare to mod' kinda guy, I'd really like to see one in the UK done in the proper 'shakotan' style, but even so... |

I'd be amazed it there are any more but I guess it's possible one may be hiding away in a garage somewhere. Due to the strength of the Yen I'm not sure any will get imported any time soon.. Looking at about 12k (landed) for one as far as I can make out. Although that is going from Goo Net which is some times all over the place with prices. |
