Hi,
I'm thinking of selling my car soon, but am unsure what to value it at, as it's very different.
You can see it here: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=137649&page=1
The spec is as follows:
1971 Morris Oxford
The work was done by a company called South coast customs
Exterior:
Satin grey paint job
Roof has been chopped and the car has been converted into a pickup.
The bonnet is a standard Oxford / Cambridge bonnet with a Morris minor hump
Caddy indicators
Dummy Appleton lights
Extended rear due to tow bar frame with step
The back comes off so the rear will open up to a flatbed
Lowering blocks on the rear springs and lowered front springs
Remote solenoid door poppers
Twin exhaust sounds awesome
Engine is a 2 litre Ford pinto with a 5 speed type 9 gearbox
Recent Cambelt
Recent electronic ignition
K&n filter
Trick rocker
All painted underneath for protection
Interior:
Mexican blacket on seat
Hesian roof lining
Chrome card suit style pedals
Californian plates over gearbox tunnel
Bone gearstick
Electric blue with metal flake dash board
Cream vinyl door cards and top of dash
Unique rear window that winds up and down ( very cool )
This car is a genuine one of a kind, you will not see another like this, it gets loads of attention!
Would have 12 months mot and tax ( which is free anyway )
Comes with loads of spares including pinto bottom end, Morris bonnet, drums etc etc
