Anybody up for a pre xmas meet in the North East?

Don't know where we could go, just thought it would be good to catch up with everyone and see what car purchases we have been getting since the last meet

Well i am open to suggestions for where and when. We need somewhere you can get a hot drink and maybe food, but also has room for our cars.

Seeing as we have people from Northumberland, Durham, Chester Le Street, and Newcastle, we need somewhere in the middle.

Here are a few suggestions that are relatively easy to get to....

1: Seaton Delaval Arms, Seaton Sluice (traditional pub, cheap food and drinks, loads of parking, view of St Mary's lighthouse, nice twisty road through Holywell Dene).
2: The Cannon Inn, Earsdon (easy to get to, not far from A19, loads of parking).
3: The Brierdene Pub, Whitley Bay (we know what its like, decent parking, loads of choice for drinks and food, a single meal will feed the 5000 )
4: the Keel Row, Seaton Delaval (masses of parking, loads of food choice, good roads)
5: The Milbourne Arms, Holywell (traditional pub, real ales and lagers, parking not great, but very good reviews)

I suppose whe could do a post xmas meet, something like the 29th or 30th, then the angst of xmas is out the way and it might be a bit more relaxed.

This weekend is a definate no for me, as it's the annual stock check at work, so working through.

The weekend after is a slight maybe from me, but to be honest, I have so little spare time at the minute, I don't want to commit myself too much with Christmas commitments/family visits to fit in.

Can't even think past Christmas ref post Christmas meet. To be honest, I reckon I'll be doing as much vegging in front of the telly/beer/wine/nuts/chocolates/turkey sarnies etc as possible, so the thought of venturing out in the freezing cold probably won't appeal too much!
