my next door neighbour used to work at our local ford, sadly he passed away the other year and we had the job of clearing his house and old work toolboxes anyway ive got these anyone know owt about em and if they worth anything ? the dirt on the door buffers is on the outside of the packet also found a old capri toy car .. looks quite good ha ha anyone shed any light ? regards richard

the door buffers are 1960s, my gran had them on her fiat 500!

AA badge is worth about £3 at least thats what i just sold one for on ebay? took 3 listings to get off 99p

yeah, AA badges are worth WAY less than everyone thinks, unless they're pre-war or commercial vehicle ones. my 100e has got a set of the door buffers on, presumably original, and thats a '58, so they're a late 50s early 60s accessory.

wicked its quite a big aa badge , how do i tell if its commercial one ? or isnt it ? and door buffers wicked wonder if anyone will show interest in them ?? and what are the champion things??

commercial ones are hexagonal, and coloured, usually red i think. earlier ones and motorcylce ones are flat. basically if its domed its not worth owt. cant quite read the prefix on that, but it appears to be (a number)-A, meanings its a 57-59 car badge.
the champion things are T lead end terminals. will probalby be small knurled hard brittle black/brown plastic screw-on ones. for back when people made their own copper-cored HT leads, back before carbon core ones existed. not really worth anything either as very few people do their own leads now.

The door buffer packaging is not 50's /60's but later. More 70's / 80's
