How many are you watching on various internet auction sites hmmmmm?? lol, quite a few, I've even bid on a couple, and I'm even watching just the beds from some. I'm wondering how to get a complete bed shipped home though. It's probably possible, but my feeling is that it'll cost nearly as much as shipping a whole truck home!  |

That's immense. A buddy of mine was telling me about a couple of old lorries at his dad's yard, lying in various sheds. I'd always just said, "oh, yeah?" but the other day I happened to call up, and spotted one of them... One of these:  in full rust over green paint and gold leaf signwriting, in the family trucking business since new. Perfection. It's far less roadworthy than this, no bed, no interior - but it still drives fine. Put out the feelers to see if he would let us restore it... the son wants to slam it with a usable bed pretty much exactly like above. Me too. Father wants it to look like when his grandad bought it. Hummm. |
