I love wheeler dealers but have come to the conclusion that if if it was just ed china it could be simply awesome. I watched a episode recently where brewer rubbed his hand over a car with a ring on !!
I wonder how many people would like to see a Ed china show.

nah.....Brewer to me is less irritating than another nameless presenter on another car show we're not allowed to mention because it's seen as negative

That would be like Beavis without Butthead. Just wouldn't work!

I just think Ed does make the show more entertaining and would love to see him do his own show

I've worked with Mike Brewer a couple of times yet he never remembers me in a Homer/Mr Burns type way......nice bloke though.

I do enjoy the show, thing that gets me is when MB rubs his hand in glee after haggling the previous owner down when purchasing.
Worst example of this was IIRC the Lotus Élan episode where it was owned by an old guy for decades.
It does need two presenters though and I do like MB's style for majority of it. I just wish he could be a bit more subtle / diplomatic. I don't mind him getting one over a dealer but not a private owner.

There's no beef I just enjoy the parts ed does more than the haggling parts if that makes sense

Do we genuinely think Mike is like that in real life? i've never met him, but I doubt it, I mean, i've never met sp1tom, but from his comment I might be led to believe he's a cock, but then he might be a right jolly fellow
Do we really believe he goes around on a daily basis knocking several grand of shonky motors and shouting 'hold out your hand, we've got ourselves a deal'?
Or do we think its a tv show, a staged, made up one at that?

that not remembering thing is a sure sign of a twunt I need to use that word more for double effect The show works because of the fact you admire one and the other is a tosser... but we still identify with parts of him (OK I do, because the fact is I am one as well!)

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.
