Watching America's Wildest (Exaggerations of) Car Chases last night I couldn't help but thing those Caprice cop cars look pretty neat.
I mean think about it, they are tuned -purely- for road performance, there is no consideration when it comes to bling and they don't make the mistake of thinking race and rally cars hold all the answers.
Most of them just sit a bit lower and have wide black steels with some proper rubber on them.
Our modus operandi when modifying cars tends to revolve around sticking some silver alloys on which means we want low profile tyres and then lowering the car. This makes the car look great but anything below a 50 profile makes for a bad ride on the road and of course you don't want to be slamming your nice wheels into the kerb.
But with a set of nice wide black steels, uber cheap and almost expendable, perhaps people would take a 2nd look and see the underpinnings of a car tuned for the road?
So... where can I get some 7J black steels in a 5x108 PCD LOL!
