This year's run is a little different to the norm.
We're meeting up at Brands Hatch on the 31st July at 7am, we'll head over to the ferry at Dover for 10am departure, then arrive at the campsite at probably 7-8pm.
What's different this year? I've provisionally booked a Spa session at 9am on Friday 2nd August for Retro Runners.
The run is a great chance to experience the 'ring with a bumch of like-minded petrol heads and classic/retro hatch enthusiasts.
Examples of the sorts of cars that come along:
Classic Mini (1959-2000)....no Beamer Minis
VW Golf MK1+2
VW Polos (1+2)
205 GTIs
Astra (MK1+2)
VW 'Rocco (MK1+2)
All details are over at www.retrorun.co.uk/forums and the application forms are on there. Run packs are £100 per driver and £90 per passenger and they include a grille plaque, donation to Macmillan Cancer Support, camping from 31st July to 6th August and a few window stickers etc.
I know we plug this on here every year, but this year we really need support so if you're thinking of going to the 'ring, head over with us, the camping discount alone makes it worthwhile, never mind the fact you'll be heading over in a big group convoy for a great fun week.
Spa is an optional extra as we understand that not everyone will want to thrash their precious metal around there, price will depend on number of entrants, but assuming 25 cars it will be 60 Euros per car for the half hour session we've got booked.

More 205s is always good!
. It's on KW V3s, corner weighed and I believe on 968 M030 ARBs 
. It is a very swift handler, more than even I thought when buying it! On some track tyres it should be super (and save the Michelins the car came with!).
