So, moving on then, I'm going to put the first few parts of our journey down, so we can start to organise the meet ups. It'd probably be best for us and for everyone else if we arrange the gatherings in the evening. These can take place wherever you like (pubs/local meeting spots/diners/Lifeboat stations etc) and we'll involve the local media if we can. Nothing fancy, just a drink/bite to eat/convoy etc and a chance to meet as many of you fine people as possible
So, we're still on track for leaving the Main Sqaure of the University of East Anglia at 14:00hrs on the 18th of April: I'm going to list the last RNLI station we're due to visit at the end of that day, so we can meet you all there, or at a place nearby.
18th April - Harwich at approximately 2000hrs
19th April - Tower Bridge London at approximately 14:00hrs
20th April - With the RNLI in London
21st April - London Marathon- come and cheer me on! We'll end the day at Gravesend at approximately 2000hrs
22nd April - Brighton at approximately 2000hrs
23rd April - Weymouth at approximately 1900hrs.
I think that will do for now! We're putting in a huge amount of effort with this trip, not to mention restoring the Mini! so it'd be great to have some support from you all on here! Spread the word, 'like' the facebook page, come for a meet up on our way around the country and even donate a pound of two when the time comes
