	Last weekend we were at Volksworld, out the front with the SSVC was this crazy Auto Union DKW van, plenty of real patina, missing windows and limited interior and some cool wheels. Today at Wheels Day, this was the talk of the town among my Dub friends and a few RRers I bumped into. Insane body modifications on a Split, single seater with faked painted on patina. I'd like to think the owner is a single chap who wanted a camper but didn't see the need to waste space with seats he wasn't going to use! I loved both of them. The DKW for taking the typical ratty Split look and applying it to something you're unlikely to see on the road from the VAG stable. The single seater Split for daring to be different. ;D

	Love that auto union van, looks fantastic! But the scene tax will be immense! As for that split/bay thing, not sure if I love it or hate it, I think I should hate it, but I can't.. My head hurts and I'm confused?!?...

	Nope, I love it ;D the quality of the body mods looks good, was it as good in the metal? Much filler? Like the hotrod interior too.

I could list a dozen things that don't improve anything but looks/style. Which is purely in the eye of the beholder. Hell! An overly lowered car ruins everything but the style, and only improves the style for those who like that look.

	The DKW is awesome, and something tells me its not done. The splitty is awful on the outside and fantastic on the inside. To each their own, but cant help feelin sorry for it.

	The DKW is easy to make my mind up about, because I like those anyway, so that's an easy win. But the Splitty is much more challenging, I love the paint on it for being so convincing, especially on the wheel arches where it looks like loads of people have sat over the years. I like the wheels, I like the tennis ball on the tow bar and the fact it even has a tow bar, I like the amber spotlights up front and I like the interior trim panels. However, I don't know if I like the whole thing, perhaps I find it just a bit too challenging and clumsy or perhaps it doesn't work.
