Hi, can any one please tell me the correct tick over speed for a standared 2000 pinto engine, as i have looked in the haynes books and it does not say.

I seem to remember its 600rpm or 800 when on choke, best check as its been a long time since I ran one.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

If you have a rev counter in there they have two little dots to indicate idle speed on and off choke, I revise my previous estimate and now think its 750 and 1100. Lol

I always set idle speed to 750 or there abouts, regardless of what it is.
