Lancaster Insurance woo;s Just to let use know

Just sold the 1.4 orion. Insurance with lancaster since 28/02/13 paid in advance. £90 value £1000
Just went to change it to 1.6 orion value £500 and they wouldnt cover it as it was under £2000 in value. ask to cancel policey they want me to pay £7 If I take out a new policy they will gve me £23 and not charge me to cancel. Qoute for the replacement orion £282. WTF!!!!!!!!!!

Just got an email from them but letter head Insurance MG Services ? Have they changed

Lancaster Insurance Services were formed in 1984 as the insurance division of the MG Owners' Club. They are now an independant company, though.

I'd recommend Richardson Hosken Specialist Cars Division. Brilliant customer service, and reasonable cost. RH Specialist Vehicle Insurance

That would explain the letter head. I was only going to insure the other Orion as I figured pointless wasting the policy. I'm letting them cancel it to avoid the £7 charge. They already had my money for nothing really. Car did 24 miles under the policey a trip to petrol station and a trip to local car show.
