Right, cut a long story short, i'm after a Mk2 Fiesta when the winter's been and gone. I've been raking around the garage, and i've got a few sets of Granada wheels... I can't decide if they would work or not, obviously i'll need adapters, but i think i might just be able to pull them off... ...Something like this... What do we think? I really like the look of the steels... (Excuse the poor 'MS Paint' photoshops...)

Like the steels a lot. The alloys were available in four-stud flavour, upmarket Capri II's had them (manufactured by Ronal, if my memory serves me well).

What about these, Cortina iirc; Fiesta mk1 Ghia had those on anyway as standard, all be it a tad smaller but same design

i am aware that they came on capri's in 4x108 flavour, but the only reason i'm tempted by Granada ones, is the fact that i'll get a few brains ticking from people who aren't clued up on adapters and stuff...

cortinas (Mk3/4/5) use a Fwd offset as do sierras not sure about granada though ? i've had cortina alloys on a Mk2 before and just needed lower profile tyres to clear I think the adapters will make them sit to far out TBH unless you redrill the hubs, drums and discs to do it ?

the old granada wheels will be going up in value now so i'd stash em for a while and let em go up in value. I'm always keeping an eye open for an old fiesta for my son but in my opinion...........................and probably only mine, nothing looks finer on them than banded steels.

Got the car from 105 bhp at the crank to 152 at the wheels.nitrous going on next.....if it ain't broke, keep bolting on go faster parts until it is........ www.fordgranadaclubuk.freefo.de

Last time I checked, a wheel isn't aware of the vehicle it is fitted to. well iam not a expert but I thought it was something to do with the offset or something like that being different between a front and rear wheel drive car. but I could be wrong!

I like both sets but the steels would look awesome if the rears were banded a little, I also like them as they are 5 stud which gives the car a look that means Ive been modded and not just had a different set of Ford wheels added.

I thought there was always an overlapping bolt?
The offset is pretty much the same so you might not get adapters on without them scrubbing so they might need to be re-drilled.
