Hi guys never been to this show before. What can I expect. If coming for the weekend. Entertainment wise Saturday night we have a restaurant and bar, good food, some car stuff on TVs, great people, lovely chat... relaxing times. During the day we don't organise anything official, but there are usually outings to local places of interest, or scrap yards, or for photo-ops at cool places. We'll have a look around and suggest some stuff and in a very typically RR manner it'll happen some how and it'll be great fun. Generally it is a time to chill and chat with folk and make a whole bunch of new friends,.. we're all very welcoming

Sorry if I'm being a bit of a tard, but I'm new to this show malarkey! Do we just park up our cars (in the show type area or in a car park?) then let others look round if and go look round the other nice retro rides.
I should be driving by then, and I'd love to come!

Yup that is exactly what happens If you are in your mini you'll be in the retro parking area and you'll park up with other retro cars and then have a wander around the show enjoying the other retro parking and club cars... also taking in the awesome track action we have at this lovely venue and generally enjoying the super vibe we have at Retro Rides Gatherings

Looking at the past years, it seems to be one the of best shows around. If I'm not driving, my dad said he would! Thanks for the info

Maxxxer a very sensible woman clearly willg : You can buy entry on the Sunday for £10 per person ... or in advance for £7.50 per person. If you are camping .. well there are 4 camping tickets available, so be quick .. they are £30 per person.

Will my 1993 suzuki cappuccino qualify for retro parking?? I no it's not quiet old enough but it's pretty rare?

Probably a stupid question, but will they allow non-road-legal cars to be driven onto the show field, as at Prescott? Or will they need trailering on and unloading?

Probably an equally daft question but are you turning up on the day or there for the weekend..... Trailers are a pita on the day not so bad if in camping field for the weekend (or shoved somewhere out of the way)

I'm camping from either Fri or Sat... the car will probably be far from legal, but will start run & stop. I know at Prescott, you could just drive across the road in pretty much anything and onto the field, but I don't know if Shelsley will be more strict?

I'm not 100% sure if you are camping you will need to cross a road ;-)

Yeah, I'm fine with crossing a road I was thinking more about whether the venue management would object.

The field you'll have the static displays/parking is about 100 yards up the road from where you'll be camping. (If I'm correct)
