Hello RR's, my names Kirky and I organised last years drive/run from Perth to Braemar. It was such a great success that a few people wanted to turn it into a monthly event. Being the new year now, I thought I'd give it an early start, as it was left at short notice last year. This time I'm thinking 80's/90's hot hatches. Sierra's, Cavaliers, XR3's, Nova's, 205 GTI's, Golf GTI's, R5's etc...you get the idea. Anyway, as I say its early days, so dates and times can and probably will be changed. However, as it stands at the moment the details are as follows..
Meet up at 10:00am on Sunday 1st June at Broxden Services, Perth, PH2 0PX and travel through Blairgowrie, Braemar, Tomintoul and Arrive at Grantown on Spey. This is further than the last time, however, it is a fact that it will most definitely be worth the extra fuel. Total distance is just short of 100 miles and will be around 2 and a half hours driving time. Like last year we will stop at Braemar and commence the journey after everyone has had a bite to eat and stretched their legs.
