Wow, that is some shape! Almost a pity there isn't a bit more 50s Jag shining through at the front... But then that wouldn't be period correct I suppose!

I do like that, but with the gold paint high-lights and that shape grill it reminds me of this... I think they should have made the grill more Jaguar shaped. You would think it was a coach built special from the 50's

Holy smack.... that is awesome... a full on hotrod, but with style, and not a bad, or "not flowing" line anywhere. I would say the gold on the windows and wheels was taking it just an inch too far, but overall it just can't be done any more perfect. Those guys know their stuff, that's for sure.

Satin gold makes the car look a tad cheap - chrome, or as Foxy said, all black would look a lot classier - other that that minor point it's quite stunning!

That does look good in black There was a feature on it - in bare metal - in a recent Rodders Journal (#60). They did start with a Jag but they ended up not using any of it when they decided it would be easier to start from scratch than to try and modify the four door shell. Most of that gold trim is actually brass - assuming they've satin finished the hand made brass trim rather than paint it. I think only the grille surround is painted.

Made my want to find '48 Jaguar Mk V picture just for interest I can understand not using the Jaguar radiator shroud as it was, though something inspired by it might still have been nice. Beautiful & stunning result just as it is though. Shiny chrome or even Golden/Brass trims for me too, over the satin/matte finish.

Love it! can't help but wonder what the steering wheel would have looked like in Bakelite brown Though?... would have blended nicely with the brass....
