This coming Sunday (2nd March) is the annual and newly amalgamated Triumph and MG spares day and show at Stoneleigh Agricultural Centre. I have no affiliation whatsoever, but for the last couple of years I've been annoyed at missing it, but as I'm on the ball this year, I thought I'd post a quick heads up for anyone interested. All being well, I'll be taking the Vitesse over in the morning

Well, personally I don't think you've missed much.
Very, VERY disappointed with the show. 50 minutes queuing to get in, no marque specific parking and I thought a lot less car parts and more car boot sale stalls than I would have liked.
For me, the parking in the cattle sheds for the respective cars was one of the biggest parts of the show, but everyone was randomly scattered around the entire site mixed in with all the modern shonk!
Ok, so they 'had' to use the sheds for the club stands, but would it really have been so hard to organise a couple of areas for mg's and triumph's to park together?
Really bad lack of planning IMHO and for me they've ruined the show. Unless things change, I certainly won't bother again!

Thats a real shame, most of the press had pushed this as being the show to end all shows.
Does make you wonder if the people who come up with these ideas have a real intrest in the concept of the show or just see the money at the end of the weekend?

TBH the Triumph has been a used car parts stall for quite some time. Last year the show's numbers (in terms of visitors and stalls/stands etc.) had really dwindled down. The fact that it was freezing in many of the cowsheds (I think even in 4 layers I was loosing feeling to my feet and fingers) many people were considering boycotting this year's event due to being promised heating in some halls, but there being no sign of it (bar a heater for the security guard!).
I can only assume that the MG show had been dwindling like this as well. There was no cowshed parking present last year either.
A shame really to what used to be a show with quite a turnout.
