I am finding it increasingly difficult to get around on this site. The problem is only on this forum, all the rest I use are fine. It takes ages for pages to load to the point where I can go to the article I want. And half the time I click on a link and get somewhere else entirely. Partly it's the adverts at the top which push links down the page after you've clicked on the one you want. Or it's just dead and doesn't do anything.
I'm using Google Chrome by the way. It started a few weeks back and is getting worse. Any ideas what's causing it?

Hmmm I'll run some checks on stuff... the adverts (and nav) shouldn't be pushing the page down as when the page renders they have a set size which is then filled when the images etc. get served. I'll double check this, it has all been through a lot of changes over the last year or so and I may have missed something, or proboards may have changed something that I am unaware of.
The back button asking for you wanting to leave the page is if you do it in quick succession and I'm trying to work out what that is. It is likely either the image sharer or another of a couple of bits of Javascript that have been added to the page, however not all of those have been addded by my and all the stuff I've added recently has been used by people.
I'll also run some page speed analytics and see if I can get everything going a bit faster. I run the site in Opera at home, Chrome at work and IE on my phone and haven't had any page speed load issues and stuff jumping around on the site as the page loads. Are you running any extensions on Chrome?
