Hmmmm sorry been having a ponder on life in general..
Its that birthday thread (where has the last month gone) and chatting to my 96 year old gran the other day, made me realise how quick time goes
Aint it scary that when u were 10 anyone 16 was really grown up, when u are 15 anyone over 25 seems ancient, and when you get near 30 u realise how clueless u were when u were 15!

Time goes so quick - can't believe I'm 29 !
Now not being morbid but I recently I have been thinkin that the only certainty in life is that you die. People have always died - the same as people are born, its what happens, so why do we get so screwed up about it?
Seems to me that some people spend there whole lives being careful and thinking of the future & never do what they really want to do because life seems simpler just plodding along.. and what do u achieve from that? U still die?
Sooooooo u gotta go for what YOU want!
Do something mental, enjoy yourself, I know we always think it'll never happen to us but u COULD get run over by a car tommorrow (as one of my mates did when he was 18)
We are very lucky to have choices and toys, and people we love. Many people don’t even have a pot to p*ss in.
I used to be scared of getting old, I'm now just scared of having regrets, I wanna do all the mad things I want - cos I can, and to never mentally 'grow up'. Who decided that when u hit a certain age you have to be sensible anyway?
Every day, no matter what boring rubbish you have to deal with is one day less that you are around so make it count and do something daft and make the most of it ;D

I'm having lessons on my BMX on the vert ramps over the next few weeks, I used to be worried about hurting myself, now I just wanna have given it a go.
And for me with surfing last year it took me a while to feel confident to get back in the sea (had a scary situation years ago where i nearly drowned and havent been in the sea for about 8 years) But I'm sooooo glad i did, Its amazing
Very strange how having a bloody good ponder can give you really positive vibes, I went through a short stage not long ago when I was on a real downer for no reason (winter blues). But now I can only really think how lucky I am (and most of us are)
No matter how bad your situation is you can bet theres some poor git whos got it a million times worse!
