2000 (X) Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 CDX Auto
MOT: November 2014
Tax: Currently on disabled (it's my dads) - but still insured so can be taxed at cost
Lovely old barge this and I think these Omega's are very underated cars.
This was originally my car, which I bought in 2010 and smoked around in, selling to my father in 2011. He's had it since and is absolutely besotted with the car. He's historically a BMW man, but rates this on par with the E34 it replaced.
I've tried to talk him into replacing it over the last 12 months or so, but he wouldn't have any of it - until I dropped an 04 reg Omega on his doorstep yesterday morning.
This car has 127k miles, runs and drives very well. Never fails to start. I haven't got the service history with me (I will pick it up tomorrow and go through it), but I know it's been looked after. In the time myself and my dad have owned it, its had a new Auxillary Belt (2011), discs, pads and brake lines (2012 or 13 MOT, can't remember) and I put a new backbox on it about 3 months ago. I also serviced it at the beginning of the year (air filter, plugs, oil & filter).
There is a receipt for a re-conditioned Autobox which was fitted in 2009, at around 110k miles. Box is good and the Sport mode helps to shift it along quite well.
Exterior - just a bog standard CDX really, it's silver with 16" alloys. It still looks very smart, but there are a few marks about it, as you would expect from a 14 year old car of this particular size.
Interior isn't in bad nick, very comfortable place to be. That's part of the reason my dad loves it - he has severe arthritis in his back, but finds that with the Omega he can travel comfortably in it. Has loads of kit (4 x electric windows, heated front seats, dual zone climate control, cruise control).
Some pics below - please note that these are old pics from 2010. The cars out the back of my house at the moment in need of a wash and hoover out, so I will do that and get some fresh pics up.
Will make somebody an ideal cheap cruiser.
Price wise - I want £595 o.n.o for it. It's on a private plate at the moment, but will be sold with the X registration in these early pictures (X61 UHD). If anybody feels the need to HPI/Vehicle Check it, the bottom pic shows the private number its currently on.
Will take a part ex/swap
