Audi A3 SE 1.8 20v (non turbo)
Metallic (volcano?) black paint in good condition - polishes well! Much shiney!
144,660 miles some paperwork including original invoice, old mot's and such... 3 keys (2 flicky, one std)and the key code number fob
Tax and MoT until end of Sept 2014. It had a fair amount of work including 2 tyre, 3 new calipers, discs and pads on all corners, new CAT and suspension bits for last MoT and has only covered approx. 7k miles in the last 12 months (its just had 2 more new tyres on rear so basically new rubber all round!) I don't see anything that it would fail on.
Its also had a new thermostat, cam angle and MAF sensors recently - runs well and pulls strongly.
Electric windows and mirrors. Casette player and 6 CD changer/Sub in boot (Std not BOSE)
Bodywork
In basically good condition, typical of a car this age it does have marks. Both bumpers would benefit from a respray, the bonnet is a slightly diff black (solid paint)and there is a fair scratch on the bootlid (didn't quite fit in garage!) No rust, its german - very solid!
Interior
It had a grey cloth interior, but it was tierd, saggy and a bit naff so the car has had some leather seat fitted. They don't have any airbag plugs so you would need to do the resistor trick to go through the MOT, they were fitted after the last one so I've just put up with the light on the dash! Everything else is light grey and would benefit from a good clean! (Its the wifes) Air con also needs attention as it is less than cold at the moment.
Mechanicals
Runs well but very fumey - needs attention to either crankcase breather (common prob on this engine allegedyly) or valve stem seals. Don't use oil, smoke or lack power - just prone to asphyxiating you if the window is open!
Selling this honest cracking little car as a doer upper as the other half has back issues and can't cope with getting our hulking 2yr old out of a 3 dr car!
