Sooo....
This could be one of the shortest ownership periods I've ever had.
I bought this car on Tuesday night with a view to having a solid reliable bus for work, however, there was a certain volvo T5 for sale on here that I just had to bid on 30 mins ago
So what we've got is a rare (in this colour) bianca white, phase1, 306 D Turbo.
It's got MOT until April the 1st next year and tax until November.
When I collected it, it was pretty lethargic. Luckily it's fitted with the very tuneable Bosch pump. After following the guides on the owners club I've adjusted the max fuelling, rotated the LDA pin, removed the throttle stop and adjusted the travel of the lda for better off boost economy.
What I've ended up with is a very quick diesel that sips fuel.
I've not adjusted the boost pressure but I have measured it at 1.1 bar which is standard so all is good there.
Cambelt was changed at 110k which is as far as the service history goes but it is full history up to that point.
Now on 143k
Reflected in the price are the bad points.
I shall list them all unlike the chap that sold me it
Windscreen has a crack from a stone chip on the passenger side
Front pads will need changing soon
Front tyres have seen better days
Drips a bit of oil. It's not drastic, it just likes to mark it's territory.
Passenger window isn't working. May be a switch?
Drives great and is super good on fuel.
Only asking to get my money back on this at £400
