It is with a heavy heart that I'm looking to either sell or swap for beloved Golf Cabby.
I've owned the car now for about 4 months and have loved every minute, unfortunately I'm doing a hell of a lot of miles at the minute so require either a diesel, or something with a smaller engine. To be honest, offer me anything, I will consider all cars as long as I can justify them.
It is taxed until the end of October 2014, and motd until may 2015.
Has the folder with a lot of service history in, parts which have been bought etc, it's all there.
Electric windows all round, electric hood, 2.0 8v engine giving 115bhp whilst still returning 35mpg on a motorway, 30-32mpg around the town.
The car is satin silver which looks amazing in the sun!
Heated rear screen, electric mirrors, cool vanity mirrors for driver and passenger, it has 17" alloys in need of a refurb, tyres are ok for now still a few thousand miles left in them.
Bodywork is not perfect, but very presentable to say the least! It is a 14 year old car, and not a show car at that. The roof motor has just popped its clogs. A new one will be fitted though so electric roof will be back in play for breezy fun times!
The front brakes have been upgraded to those from a golf g60, reason being that I intended to upgrade to a 2.0 16v engine so the stopping power is most certainly there!
It has a 6 CD Multichanger in the boot which is controlled via the radio on the dash, speakers are really good quality if you're looking to cruise with the roof down!
Please note! The Lexus lights have been removed and replaced with smoked mk3 gti lights, and the stupid Halfrauds 'VDUB' badge removed too.
I'm ideally looking for something VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, BMW, Mercedes, but I'll happily listen to any offers. If you want a straight but I value this car at £900. Happily listen to offers, don't take the p**s though.
