I was only going to post a few images but can't choose which ones.... A great day out from the start with a steward calling my modern Alfa awesome to the end when another steward gave me traffice/directions advice... First car I took a photo of was the metro with silly small wheels... RRG14_metro by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr and the second was this glorious XJS, quite a contrast, nice wheels RRG14_xjs by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr I then got a bit obsessed with wheels particularly OZ, I'd really like a set of these for my car (maybe not in gold though); RRG14_OZ_spoke by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr or maybe the racing look RRG14_BMW_OZ by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr attached to this E30 (one of my top 3 cars of the day), with an M3 engine RRG14_E30_black_2 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr RRG14_E30_black_1 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr or maybe in orange RRG14_OZ_orange by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr attached to a very orange E30 M3, pity the boot is open RRG14_M3_orange by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr My second top 3 car was this Porsche RRG14_911 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Had a great set of wheels as well... RRG14_911_wheel by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Or how about some classic Compomotive rally wheels attached to a classic Delta Integrale (I'm not sure the rally cars had an air flter sticking out the front though) RRG14_delta_wheel by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Compomotive wheel (on another black Delta) reflections RRG14_delta_wheel_reflect by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Some hillclimb pictures, I'm out of practice with panning, can you tell what the car is (or if you think it's good it was planned...)? RRG14_pan_blur by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr The black Delta Integrale RRG14_delta_pan by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Moris Minor van trying hard RRG14_moggy_van by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Much easier to photograph them on the way back down... The E30 with the M £3 engine, has he got a bonnet? RRG14_E30_black_pan by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Don't know what this 'wacky racer' is but is was err wacky (in a good way) RRG14_orange by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr My 3rd top 3 car was the time attach Delta Monte carlo (at least I think that's what it started as). At rest; RRG14_monte_1 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr going up, although it loosk static (must put some blur on the wheels); RRG14_monte_2 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr and coming down; RRG14_monte_3 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr RRG14_monte_4 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Round the show field to end. Every body had to take that photo of that Land Rover, so I did as well RRG14_that_1 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Nice subtle MX-5, if I ever get one this is the way I'd go but with the supercharger as fitted to a couple of other MX-5's, and more retro wheels RRG14_mx5 by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr Esprit with V6 Alfa Romeo engine, what a view... RRG14_esprit by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr And finally a non car photo because I like playing with DoF... RRG14_amanda by Country Photo (UK), on Flickr These are pretty much out of the camera, just a bit of cropping and resizing with a few tweaks on a couple in Lightroom. A couple, e.g. Porche image, could do with some photoshopping to blur the background. If amybody wants high-res let me know. Mark

Great pics, and most amusing Gathering commentary so far . Orange wacky thing is a Studebaker. Commander I think, circa 1950. Maybe a Champion?

The blurred (on purpose?) car is a Saab 99 turbo Yes the SAAB rally 'replica', unfortunately the blur was an accident. I didn't think Shelsey was as photo friendly as Prescott and couldn't get a good spot for hill climb images, hence the images of the cars on the way back.
