For Sale is my E38 728i in silver, I purchased in May this year as a daily and it has been a pleasure to drive. But the time has come for me to part ways with it as I'm after something a bit different.
• 1998 E38 728i in silver
• Tax until the end of September
• MOT until February
• 120000 miles on the clock may creep up as in being used as a daily
Engine & gearbox:
• 2.8 straight six engine
• The automatic gearbox shifts perfectly with fully working kick down and sport mode, it can also be put into tiptronic(semi-manual) mode which works well.
• The engine has regular oil and coolant checks with no leaks.
Wheels, tyres, Brakes & suspension:
• It’s sitting on staggered 18” m parallels the drivers side has some slight curbing from the previous owner but all four balance up perfectly.
• Brand new tyres have been put on the rear, and the fronts have lots of tread still on them.
• The car has 4 pot brembos as standard which feel amazing.
• I have changed the discs at the front due to the old ones being warped when I purchased the car.
• I have also swapped out the passenger side lower control arm as the bush was perished when I got the car
Exterior:
The cars body work is in excellent condition for a 16 year old vehicle. There are a few car park dings as you would expect on a car of its the main one being a dent on the passenger side wing as you see in the pictures it isn’t really noticeable. I have also fitted legal pressed metal number plates to the car which really give it that authentic German look.
Interior:
• Full leather interior in perfect with front memory feature.
• It has all the usual toys you’d expect from a car like this Air con, cruise control, traction control, dual climate control heating, 6 cd multi changer
