Up for sale is this disabled vehicle I recently bought...its a 1999 fiat scudo "cominato"disabled access type van.
Been professionally converted by GM coachbuilders in devon from new.
Its silver and has the Peugeot 1.9 turbo diesel xud motor in it with approx 63k miles.
Has access ramp on the rear that folds down,and allows a wheel chair to be fitted or pulled in via a remote control winch fitted between front seats (fully working)
Has 2 front seats and 2 rear seats,that can be removed and has 2 sliding rear doors.
Is very clean inside,has electric front windows,and electric mirrors.
Quite a cool vehicle if you have motor bike or just general bits and bobs to move about.... but the bad news.
The engine is making a racket...nothing mechanical wrong,but sounds like a washing machine with a lot of nuts and bolts in it...ive driven it over 50 miles,and is quite quiet when its warm and on the move..but its also slow..typical scudo/expert/dispatch/806,as its a big car ,with an underpower engine..
Does not stop on the key due to wrong type soloniod switch fitted to pump...
Also has no tax or m.o.t.....can see it wanting much for m.o.t apart from it will need new front disc and pads on the front..
Ive welded the exhaust system on it..(last m.o.t failer) and all tyres and lights are good..
has many scratches all over,and a dent in the rear quarter..but this could be made to be a very useful van..
I'm just looking for my £500 back that ive just paid for it,as ive cleaned it up inside and out.. been stood under trees for the last year or so..
I'm located in Pontypool ,south wales..10 mins from M4 and may be able to help with delivering it locally...as ive got it insured.
