It is with a heavy heart that I'm looking to sell the Subaru.
This was purchased earlier in the year with a view to strip, and use the engine in a beetle. for something with a bit of show and go.
However, a change in circumstances (which is usually the case) has forced my hand, and I have to part company.
The car is located in romford Essex, currently, but will be moved to Dagenham to aid viewings etc, shortly.
The car is a uk spec, 2.0 turbo. four cam engine. with a few tweaks and stuff (this is probably where my Subaru knowledge ends)
stories from the previous owner, tell me its far from standard, and I suspect the wheels to be prodrive.
I certainly felt extremely quick, and pulled like a train when driven by myself.
I would suspect the mot has expired, and tax is non transferable now anyway. so who cares.
please note, I bought this to break and use in another project.
The car has some rather bad rust issues around the rear strut towers, however anyone handy with a buzz gun, could sort this.
rear arches look to have been repaired at some point.
other than that it seems to be in ok condition, and with a bit of tlc, could be back on the road in a weekend.
benefits from a full leather interior in good condition, and a nicely installed boost gauge on the a pillar. no radio, however the sound system is still there.
rear drop links seem to have been replaced with some alloy items, k and n panel filter installed, and what seems to appear to be a quick shift gear stick.
following pictures are all I have at the moment and I will try my best to answer any questions I can, but I'm not very clued up on these.
price is £1000, this is what I paid. this is what I need back.
