A GREAT CAR - WHAT A GEM!
LOW MILEAGE 86K (I think - will check)
CHEAP TO TAX
ECONOMICAL
RELIABLE
I bought this mazda as a stop gap in August 2013, it's been such a good car I hung onto it - comfortable, 100% reliable, quiet and cheap to run - sips petrol!
It's very low mileage and has no rust to speak of.
When I bought the car it had a ruined rear shock absorber, I replaced both.
It had a new cambelt at just over 60K (before my ownership)
I have fitted new pads and had the calipers overhauled as they were binding.
The ABS light was on, so I replaced a wheel sensor.
Since doing these few bits there have been no other issues, starts first turn of the key and has the best heater I've ever had in any car ever it warms up so quick.
Good points,
electric mirrors
power steering
anti lock brakes
electric tilt and slide factory sunroof (no leaks)
alloy wheels with good tyres and two good fullsize spares
power window
driver and passenger airbags
interior in good condition, no tired ripped seats.
tow bar
Bad points....
couple of small car park door dings, small patch of paint missing on bumper, passenger side window doesn't work - it's not the motor or the switch so must be a wire somewhere, and the rubber buttons on the key fob have worn away, unlock works, but the lock button is gone - if you could get new rubber buttons it would work fine. I just use the key. (off which there are all 3 originals). Air con needs a re-gas
That's it, quite nice looking, totally underestimated car
It has a few months MOT, no reason why it wont sail through the next one
No tax - new laws means that no car can be sold with tax anymore
£400 ono
