Yeah I saw that when I had a browse earlier,.. very nice,.. Might have to do another build a modified classic for x ammount thread again later this week  That Audi would have been a fantastic base. |

I'd leave it well alone - it's virtually mint. Would probably go to the extend of removing the hidiouse exhaust and fitting an O\E one. |

I'd leave it well alone - it's virtually mint. Would probably go to the extend of removing the hidiouse exhaust and fitting an O\E one. But its German,.. you have to Euro it,.. its the Law!! Fair play it is a lovely car as is,... but...... where is Darren and his picture collection when you need him..... |

I think you could do that to one that needs restoration, but to do that to one that's virtually immaculate would be sacrilege

Ahhh I was always bought up to believe that if you are modifying or customising to start with the best you can possibly get, it makes for a better project in the long run Or at least a more cost effective one. yep i'd agree with that one my 5.0 cortina started as a totaly restored mk3 2door GT when i got it reson being i wanted a car that was going to be strong enough for the sort of power it now has without having to worrie about patching the floor or inner wings ect the idea was to have a cortina that looked like it should have come from the factory with the running gear its got sort of british muscle car  |
