UPDATE : 13/07/2015
The car has had new fuel lines, pickup, a service and runs like a champ. Starts on the button and is INCREDIBLY lively and fun to drive. We started cleaning it up and while yes, it could do with some more cleaning, the dust under the bonnet does clean up if you have the patience to t-cut.
Again it would take VERY little to get back on the road, the original patina just adds to how timewarp this is and would be a sin to repaint it (keep rust at bay and retain the patina with ankor wax). Cosmetically, other than the usual cleaning and detailing under the bonnet, all this needs is some lows and some better suited registration plates. I'd even retain the original wheels and tyres as they just 'fit' and look right.
Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions here or through PM.
