This may require the promise of a nice dinner to t'other half as it's Valentines day, or like me it might just take your mind off not having one this year (cue violin music and shares in kleenex soaring) Anyway I go to this most years, an excellent, FREE day out watching a real mixed bunch of rally weapons attack Goodwood circuit, Carparks and occasionally a cone or 2. Gung-Ho Rally Team stalwarts Paul King and Gary Whittington doing a VERY wet SS9 at last year's South Downs Stages. Worth watching for the almighty 100mph tankslapper near the end.
Super event, if you've never been to Goodwood before you can almost feel the ghosts of racing's past.

Will they be there this year? I gave last years event a miss as it really was hateful weather to stand and watch!

This is tomorrow - I should be there after lunch, but ended up getting myself a Valentines too, result haha  Runs from dawn 'til dark, so pop down any time! |
