	I've just picked up a Mk4 golf GTI 2.0 (non turbo) off my dads mate, He got himself a X3 and this sat on his drive for 2 weeks after the mot ran out It will make a lovely daily driver or maybe the next big VW show stopper!! I've no interest in a Mk4 Golf, they don't do it for me, But as the mot was only £36 I put it in today just to see how good/bad it was and it failed :-( But it only failed on the emissions being too high, They plugged it in and it needs a lambda sensor which I think are around £60. the mot station said they don't do the work but could get a garage to do it, It drives lovely there were no advisories :-) In the last year it has had new brakes front and rear and new tyre's (at the cost of £550!!) Its a 2000 on a V, there's a few marks but overall its not a bad looking car and everything works!! What I'm after.... Well the car doesn't owe me a great deal so I'm not expecting loads!! Idealy I'm after a little motorbike that me and my lad can mess about with in the garage, or something a bit diffrent, actually it hasn't got to be a car or bike I suppose!! I'm in Arundel, West Sussex

	If its just the Lambda sensor its got to worth you doing it, it looks like a tidy car from the pictures. Don't see many in white either!

	Its £68 plus fitting, plus a re test, then it would prob only be a £500/£600 car? Plus its a Mk4 Gti, Id rather spend my time on something more intresting :-)

	I've now had a lot of people tell me its quite rare to get a white Gti So I may now MOT it and either keep it for a bit or sell with a new mot!!

	Mileage is 102k, Got some old mot's. and last years paperwork for brakes and tyres (£550) there is service history but its at my mates somewhere so take it for now that Ive not got any, But like you say its a £300 car so cant expect full VW history!!
