1999 Mazda MX5 1.8 Sport - 1 of only 200 made.
Low mileage at just over 43,000 and a years MOT.

Overall the condition of this car is good. Mechanically it has just passed it's MOT however it now has the ABS sensor light on - so it will need a new sensor at one of the wheels. The car has had new pads and discs recently so my mechanic thinks that one of the sensors has been disturbed.
The paintwork has faded in areas (typical Mazda red) and there is some rust on the front arches (pictured). There is also some lacquer peel in areas. The hard top roof and rear spoiler (both made of the same material) have faded slightly and ideally would require paint, although I've not bothered as I think it looks ok. The soft top also has a glass rear screen, is in good condition and does not leak. In fact, it's hardly ever used as the hard top is on the majority of the time.
The interior of the car is good with the leather seats still supportive, with little signs of any wear. The bolsters are good! The Nardi steering wheel feels great in your hands and the car has the standard wood trim that came with this limited edition model. It has a JVC CD player installed and the electric aerial works perfectly.
The car has had the standard alloys painted black to give it a bit of a better look as the wheels were showing some signs of age. There are good tyres all round with at least 5mm all round.
As this is the limited edition 'Sport' (1 of 200) it does have the Torsen Limited Slip Differential fitted as standard. Apparently this is exactly what you want if you are using the car on track.
I lowered the car on Eibach 25mm springs when I bought it and it handles beautifully.

The car is located in Hamilton which is a few miles outside of Glasgow. There are good transport links to here either by Train or Plane. If you flew into Glasgow I would be able to meet you at the airport and bring you back to view the car. I live right on the doorstep of the M74, so easy to drive home for you..
