I recently brought this off my uncle for a cheap run-around. He was only selling as he brought my other uncles (the original owner of this one for sale) Mk2 Focus. I assumed the insurance would be cheap but it turns out I'll need to start my no claims again as it's a second car and it's horrendously expensive.
As the title says, it's a 1999 on a T reg and it's a Ford Focus and has the 1.6 zetec engine with 115k on the clock in silver. It's been in the family for a good number of years being my one uncles, then the others. There's a good bundle of paperwork but I haven't looked through it yet. It's MOT'd for 11 months and went through with no problems as far as I know. To be brutally honest, I brought it for pottering round in while I took my MX5 off the road for a bit and know not a lot about it really. The bodywork is in fantastic order as it's lived in its garage it's whole life (until now, it on my parents driveway) and maintained well and looked after as both my uncles are former car nuts and have always kept them in good order.
The only problems I can see with the car are there is a very small knock occasionally when pulling off and the backbox has a small hole where water/condensation is leaking out.
I'm looking for £500ono. I may be up for a p/x for a van as I'm expanding my business.
