Hi all,
I've finally admitted it, I'm not going to get this one fixed anytime soon and so I need it shifted.
For sale is my BMW E36 Touring with the 328i engine and manual box out of the factory and complete with Alpina trimmings. Its got 204,000 miles on the clock and has an MOT until the 16th of April (not that having an MOT is much use but we get to that in a minute). It comes with GENUINE 17" Alpina Softline Alloys 8" wide on the front and 9" wide on the rear, all with the correct offsets. Alpina front skirt, Alpina/M spor t rear bumper, Alpina steering wheel and gear knob. Full Grey leather interior. Central locking and alarm/immodilizer. Two keys though the main one has worn out to the point that it doesn't work in the ignition anymore and one key for the alloys. It's got nearly new tyres all round fitted last year for it's MOT and I also fitted new front suspension and control arms last year which have only done about 6,000 miles.

Now the bad points.....
The engine expired a couple of months ago - totally worn out with only 60psi compression on one cylinder and about 40psi on the others. So I sourced another engine to fit and have been slaving away trying to get it into the car over the last few days but as I was jacking the car up at the back the jack went through the D/S rear jacking point.... So it has some rust issues at the back which I'm pretty sure won't pass another MOT without some surgery. Therefore, I'm advertising it as spares or repair, or take it way and break it.
I've stripped all the inlet manifold and totally prepped the engine to come out but was having problems getting the front panels off so thought I'd drop the gearbox separately and then pull the engine without removing the front end, so it's in a state of undress!! But I'll include everything in the sale if you want it.
In summary, it's a good looking car and I'll definitely be sad to see it go as it was such a good car to drive. Really practical, but also a hoot on the twisty black stuff!!

If your interested please PM me and leave your number and a good time for me to call.
If there is no interest it's off to the scrapyard - unfortunately!!
