Hi Folks.
Holding a retro/classic car gathering on Thursday afternoon - 5:30 till 8-9 o'clock or as long as you like really! Location is Kingshurst lake and can hold 70 cars or even 100 with a squeeze. Invite your friends and family, more the merrier!
It's not strictly classics, all cars welcome.
The only this we do ask is if you have a beefy sound system or loud exhaust then just keep it down till you're out of the area.
The postcode to the nearest house is B376LU, this brings you to the top of the ramp leading down to the lake.
There is speed bumps leading to the lake but they're pretty graceful. There won't be any signs or further direction as you don't need any, if you manage to miss a lake at the end of a road then you need more help than I can provide
Any questions please just ask, any negative views and you'll probably end up being accidentally nudged in to the lake
There's a couple of benches to sit and eat any food you bring, there's also a small rarely used skatepark just to the side if you're bringing kids.
Thanks

Me and a couple of others on here today had a spontaneous meeting at our local lake.
It's not a venue, it's not a hot spot, it's just a nice little lay away in Kingshurst (5 minutes from the NEC) and it's free for us to do what we want when we want, no gates no nothing!
It holds up to 70 cars but could easily get over 100 in if we parked on grass etc... I've lived in this area since I was a boy and it would be fantastic to see some car related meetings going on here
We had lots of nosey passers by and people glad to see cars like this asking about the cars etc.
If anyone else would like to come next time we could sort a date/time out and all land at the same time!
